Radar Engineer The Opportunity: As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating radar systems. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of radar systems. On our team, you'll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to develop and integrate those upgrades to improve the warfighters' competitive edge. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. This is a chance to use your electrical engineering skills while gaining experience in the radar discipline to sharpen your skills while doing meaningful work. You Have: - Experience in radar systems - Knowledge of radar systems and systems integration challenges - Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities - Secret clearance - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field Nice If You Have: - Experience with modern Navy SPY radar systems - Experience with the SETR process - Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting - Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques - Ability to analyze radar designs and provide technical inputs improve performance and integration ease - Top Secret clearance - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secretclearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. To support engagement and effective communication, employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings. - Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. - Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role.
