Full Job Description
R&D Lab Engineer - Owensboro, KY

Your Day-to-Day
  • Support the Owensboro R&D Analytical Laboratory by translating business needs into technical solutions, including design, deployment, maintenance, and support of laboratory IT systems.
  • Serve as the primary IT facilitator for laboratory platforms, including LabVantage LIMS, Agilent CDS/ECM, Chromeleon Enterprise System, SmartVue, EMS, Mettler EasyDirect, OMNIS, and Skala.
  • Support implementation of new laboratory systems, digital initiatives, and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements and define project scope, deliverables, and process improvements.
  • Deploy and localize global IT solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while supporting daily laboratory operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, GxP requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Perform routine laboratory test analyses as needed.
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of IT service management experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working for a multinational organization.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GAMP, and Computer System Validation (CSV) preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Annual Base Salary

$80,000 - $100,000
