JOB SUMMARY
Directs the efforts of performance improvement initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards including national, state, CMS, and other agencies. Partners with system leadership and councils on quality improvement initiatives involving pharmacy/medication use. Leads the development of pharmacy quality improvement initiatives for HHC Medical Group. Coordinates system policies and procedures partnering with HHCMG Leadership, creates and provides education for staff. Coordinates lean certification efforts of pharmacy.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Education:
PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy or licensed as a pharmacist prior to 2002 with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
Experience:
2-3 years pharmacist experience practicing in a health system setting.
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Unrestricted license as a Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible to receive licensure within 45 days.
Language Skills:
Strong command of English language.
