Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

Develop, implement and sustain the quality systems required to assure the delivery of products and services that exceed total quality requirements. Lead the facility in the application of total quality activities that result in continuous process improvements and reduce total cost. Responsible for maintaining ISO9001, AS9100 and Military QPL maintenance programs, such as Mil-PRF-39010, Mil-PRF-27.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage, lead, and mentor the Quality department team
  • Responsible for incoming quality and regulation of suppliers performance to quality
  • Develop and drive customer specific quality requirements
  • Interface with customer to resolve quality problems by determining root cause and corrective actions
  • Lead the quality team's efforts to improve internal quality
  • Implementation of sustainable quality processes in production process
  • Support Manufacturing, Sales and Customer service in resolving quality problems and implementation of corrective actions
  • Drive customer-specific quality problems using FBS processes and tools
  • Embrace and utilize Daily Management Process
  • Develop audit programs and procedures for all levels of audit activity.
  • Assure consistency of purchased components by vendor certification, establishment of effective acceptance criteria and product monitoring.
  • Provides support and information for new and sustaining product development in regards to quality processes, tooling and fixtures, aimed at one piece flow
  • Maintain ISO and AS9100 quality system


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree- preferably in a technical discipline
  • Supervisory, or management experience required
  • Prior quality systems experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with military specifications would be beneficial
  • Variation Reduction and Problem-Solving skills
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis

Salary range: $98,000 - $162,700

Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
