Job Description
SUMMARY:
Drive quality projects and implement improvements to manufacturing processes.
Act as the primary liaison with customers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies for audits and quality issues.
Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Manual, internal work instructions, and procedures; audit and approve subcontractors.
Review job status, customer specifications, and recommend technical solutions.
Collaborate with Production Control, Engineering, and customers on alloy, casting design, and tooling topics.
Manage staff responsible for quality planning, raw material release, and final product certification.
Oversee Level III NDT Examiner for personnel qualification, special process certifications, and audits.
Serve as Management Representative for ISO-9001 & AS9100 compliance.
Stay current with industry advancements through technical literature review.
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to quality teams while maintaining discipline and professionalism.
Secondary Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Participate in training, health evaluations, and safety programs.
Wear required PPE in designated areas and report any work-related injuries immediately.
Perform physical functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work overtime as needed and meet attendance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (preferred).
