What is a Quality Manager?The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality systems, processes, and teams to ensure products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role leads quality assurance and control activities, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional teams to enhance product and process performance. The position plays a critical role in maintaining product consistency, supporting compliance, and strengthening overall quality culture.
What You Can Expect to Do as a Quality Manager:- Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control functions
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer standards, and internal specifications
- Analyze quality data and drive improvements to reduce defects and variability
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Technical teams to resolve quality issues
- Oversee audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections
- Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs
What We Are Looking For in a Quality Manager:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related roles
- Experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and methodologies
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks (certification preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
