The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for driving quality through engineering excellence, automation, and continuous integration practices. You will design and implement automated test frameworks, integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with developers to prevent defects before they reach production. - Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
- Develop robust automated test suites using modern languages and tools (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes, improve testability, and prevent defects
- Define quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform performance, load, or reliability testing as needed
- Review code, contribute to architectural discussions, and champion automation-first practices
- Mentor junior engineers on automation, tooling, and quality engineering principles
What You Bring- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD systems
- Deep understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems, APIs, and modern web/mobile apps
- Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive quality improvements across the organization
