Job Description Summary
Support the manufacturing as Product Quality Engineer (PQE) with wing to wing responsibilities including

Job Description

Main tasks:
• Develop and improve quality plans to assure harmonized requirements of manufacturing process, customers, engineering and suppliers
• Assure technical regulation and standards' requirements defined by engineering technical specification/drawings
• Based on drawings and specification determine key product characteristics required to measure and record in the quality plans. Work out new drawing datum, dimension and tolerances for in process quality control (working together with manufacturing engineer)
• Determining the key product characteristics to be measured in the Quality Plan (with the help of the

manufacturing engineers).
• Manage scraping processes in Oracle ERP system
• Develop personalized training program for quality inspectors (with peer PQE`s) to bring the individuals "up to speed" with continued training as needed
• Analyse customer complaints and professionally support customer communication or visits. Initiate and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
• Improve quality processes focusing on customer satisfaction and competitiveness through six sigma and lean tools
• Support SMART process at GEMBA board including lean lines
• Monitor, analyse and improve main quality KPIs (Cost of Quality, defect rate, process capability, number of NCRs, aging of NCRs, quality stop works, critical process audits). Initiate improvement action for relevant parties like quality and manufacturing engineers or suppliers.
• Review and follow up NPI and generate improvements based on process capability
• Participate on SMART quality meetings and evaluate NCRs furthermore initiate corrective and preventive actions together with manufacturing engineers (eg. Poke-Yoke solutions)
• Define quality disciplinary scores, provide information for HR notifications if necessary, based on evaluated NCRs
• Customer focus and product compliance
• Further tasks not involved in this Job Description, that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing.
• Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events

Reporting:
• Non-conformance reporting regular GEMBA production meetings
• Scrap reports on weekly basis

Responsibility:
• Coordinate and improve quality control processes with responsibility for high level product quality
• Lead continuous improvement, lean projects and generate high level of supplier performance
• Follow ISO 9001 quality standard, documented procedures, quality requirements
• Responsible for handling customer claims, NCRs, SDRs, QSWs and audit findings
• Immediately report the incidents and near misses to the direct reports and EHS department
• On LPB level manages daily to assure compliance to HR regulations
• Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules

Authority:
• Prepare and actively participate on external audits, customer visits and provide solutions for deviations
• Execute internal, workstation or critical process audits and follow up non-conformities in Gensuite System
• Disposition non-conformances on NCRs and SDRs (where design engineering involvement in not necessary)
• Immediately shut down the operation when realized life or serious injury risk present

Requirements:

Education: Technical University/College degree is required

Experience: At least 2 years professional experience

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
