Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced QUALITY ENGINEER to act as liaison between company and customer with respect to technical or quality related issues. They will provide manufacturing and engineering support to resolve product quality issues and help correct or suggest improvements to the manufacturing processes while using 8D corrective action methodology. They will provide support to the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with current ISO standards including internal audits, maintaining procedures and forms up to date, and monitoring risk matrix.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Hired candidate will have demonstrated the ability to handle and maintain multiple projects at once and respond quickly and decisively to production support requests.
  • Will possess a working knowledge of industry standards ISO 9001:2015, IPC 600, IPC 610, J-STD-001, and is data driven to execute quality improvements and/or cost reductions.

Required Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing quality standards.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
  • Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements to product.
  • Investigate and problem solve product or production issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement team.
  • Perform or participate in company audits.
  • Provide IPC training/refereeing.
  • Maintain control of records, non-conforming materials, and calibration schedule.
  • Supports safety committee activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and management.
  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Required Education:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in a science or technical area/equivalent.

Other Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial experience, preferable in high volume manufacturing, automation and quality principles.
  • Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
  • We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
  • This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, located at our Camarillo, CA facility. Additional hours/days as required.

Pay Range: $72,000 to $100,000 annual salary.
