Full Job Description
We are helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Quality Engineer to support production quality, vehicle release, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and fleet operations.

In this role, you'll partner with quality, manufacturing, engineering, supplier quality, and fleet operations teams to ensure vehicles released to service meet design specifications, functional requirements, customer expectations, and documentation standards.

As a Quality Engineer, you'll:
  • Manage quality issues identified through production audits and vehicle release activities, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and closure.
  • Support the diagnosis of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) issues identified during rider quality audits and EFR processes.
  • Develop standardized NVH inspection processes and define the tools required to support consistent evaluation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of production quality audits, EFR activities, and issue-resolution processes.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Vehicle Development, and other cross-functional teams to resolve systemic product and process issues.
  • Support the development and review of PFMEAs and control plans to strengthen risk mitigation and manufacturing process controls.
  • Analyze technical findings, communicate results clearly, and drive quality issues to successful closure.
  • Travel to company locations, including Austin, Atlanta, Hayward, and San Francisco, as needed based on business requirements.
