Assembly Inspector, you're the final checkpoint ensuring every mechanical and electromechanical assembly meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and craftsmanship.

What You'll DoYou'll be the quality checkpoint for mechanical and electromechanical assemblies-performing inspections, verifying torque, and checking critical dimensions using precision tools. You'll apply GD&T principles, confirm labeling and traceability, and ensure workmanship meets all specifications. You'll maintain accurate, compliant documentation; identify and report defects; and communicate findings clearly to technicians, engineers, and supervisors. You'll keep tools calibrated and in good condition, support measurement system checks, and make sure no assembly moves forward without proper inspection release. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in briefings, raise concerns proactively, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to keep quality at its best.
We'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certificates, vocational training, or military technical experience
- Experience in mechanical assembly, quality inspection, or technical related work
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand basic GD&T
A Successful Candidate Also Brings:- Knowledge of assembly sequencing and fastener requirements
- Familiarity with inspection plans and digital inspection tools
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Basic understanding of calibration and measurement systems
PayEstimated Starting Base Salary Range: $64,248 - $107,080. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
