Overview

As the Quality Assurance Specialist III, you will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and serve as the strategic and technical lead for the QA team. You will oversee the entire Quality Management System (QMS), manage external vendor audits, and lead regulatory compliance initiatives. This role bridges operational execution and corporate strategy, working directly with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain managers to mitigate risk and drive facility-wide quality excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the site-wide QMS, ensuring robust tracking of CAPAs, nonconformances, and change controls
  • Act as the lead auditor for internal facility processes and manage the external supplier/vendor qualification audit program
  • Lead complex root cause analysis investigations for critical quality failures and customer complaints
  • Author, review, and approve critical SOPs, quality policies, and validation protocols
  • Track, analyze, and present quality metrics (KPIs) and compliance trends to senior management
  • Host regulatory inspectors and external client auditors, serving as the primary technical point of contact
  • Mentor, train, and guide junior QA Specialists and establish site-wide compliance training programs
  • Proactively identify compliance risks and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency

  • Proven experience managing supplier quality programs and hosting external regulatory audits
  • Advanced data analysis skills with high proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Interest in cars and car care, a plus!

Work Environment
  • Split between an office setting and a manufacturing floor environment
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and exposure to loud noises and varying warehouse temperatures
  • Proper PPE and adherence to the facility dress code are required
