DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift
Quality Assurance Lead to join our team in
Elkridge, MD at our Troy Hill facility. The successful candidate must have the ability and willingness to work at both the Elkridge and Halethorpe sites, including driving between sites on some days.
This position is a 2nd shift position.
What You'll Get To Do:
Perform in-process, sampling, First Article Inspections, and final inspection on a variety of complete electromechanical LRUs and systems.
Visually inspect for appropriate electrical assembly specifications and standards.
Perform inspections using tooling and check lists to complete inspection of sub-assemblies and systems.
Interface with manufacturing operations and engineering personnel to improve processes and documentation issues.
Support visual and dimensional checks for piece/part conditions that contribute to, or cause, defects for RCCA's.
Review metrics, procedures, and techniques used to inspect materials, parts, units, and/or systems at inspection to facilitate continuous improvement.
Perform ISO Audits as required by audit coordinator for site compliance efforts.
Submit contract end item product as required per PrOP & QAD.
Interface with customer and government (DCMA) for required in-process inspections through final inspection as well as contract end item submittals and final pack and shipping process.
Perform as a Quality Process Control Aide in an AS-9100 process-oriented organization.
Basic Qualifications:
6 years and a High School diploma or equivalent and related experience
Minimum of 2 years Inspection experience
SAP experience
Quality inspection and electromechanical assembly experience
Drawing review experience (ISE/CADSTAR)
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Confidential clearance
U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,517.00 - $132,658.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
