Full Job Description
Department: National Accounts

FLSA Status: Exempt (Traveling Role)

The QA/QC Lead is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes across Enterprise Electrical's National Accounts projects, primarily large-scale data center construction. This role ensures all electrical installations meet project specifications, NEC standards, client requirements, and Enterprise Electrical's internal quality benchmarks.

The QA/QC Lead partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Safety, and Prefabrication teams to proactively prevent defects, manage inspections, and deliver zero-punch, inspection-ready installations.

This position requires strong technical electrical knowledge, leadership capability, and experience working on mission-critical environments.
Quality Oversight & Compliance
  • Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • NEC
    • NFPA 70E
    • Project specifications and drawings
    • Client commissioning standards
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and approved shop drawings for constructability and compliance.
  • Verify installations meet design and code requirements prior to inspections.
Field Inspections & Documentation
  • Conduct daily and weekly quality inspections.
  • Perform pre-inspection walkthroughs before AHJ inspections.
  • Maintain quality logs, deficiency reports, and corrective action tracking.
  • Manage turnover documentation and as-built verification.
  • Support commissioning and owner turnover processes.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Work directly with:
    • Project Managers
    • Superintendents & Foremen
    • Safety Team
    • Prefab Department
  • Coach field leadership on best installation practices.
  • Identify training needs to reduce rework and improve quality metrics.
  • Serve as quality liaison between client and field teams.
Continuous Improvement
  • Track rework trends and root causes.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce callbacks and punch items.
  • Standardize best practices across National Accounts projects.
  • Support development of internal QA/QC SOPs and checklists.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or quality-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • NEC
    • Blueprint reading & specification interpretation
    • Data center or mission-critical installations (preferred)
  • Experience with large-scale projects ($10M+ electrical scope preferred).
  • Proficient in digital reporting tools (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Ability to travel nationwide for extended project durations.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master Electrician License (any state) - preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • NFPA 70E Certification.
  • Experience with commissioning and turnover documentation.
  • Experience working with hyperscale data center clients.
