Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or test engineering experience, preferably in fintech or API-driven sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of QA processes through all SDLC phases.
• Strong skills in test case design and exploratory testing; familiar with REST/JSON API testing.
• Experience writing BDD-style test scenarios (Gherkin/Cucumber).
• Ability to create and maintain automated tests (e.g., using Playwright or Selenium).
• Proficiency in a scripting language for automation (such as JavaScript or Python).
• Familiarity with SQL for data verification and utilizing Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and exploratory test cases for product flows.
• Address automation technical debt and critical flow gaps on an ad hoc basis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and coverage requirements.
• Manage regression testing to ensure release quality.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts as the company standardizes this process.
• Log and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and severity definitions.
• Identify and communicate gaps needing automated testing to the development team.
