You will be a key contributor on a team developing next generation solutions for our Metrology Business Unit. Job Summary & Responsibilities
Perform requirements-based and system level testing across projects and platforms ensuring quality and efficiency for Onto's Metrology Business Unit solutions
Cross-functional collaboration with software, hardware, manufacturing and applications teams to validate software
Analyze and verify software requirements for testability, clarity and completeness
Develop comprehensive test plans for new features and products
Investigate, reproduce, log and escalate issues/defects
Develop efficient test strategies (test cases and procedures) for the different sub-systems comprising the product
Develop and execute automated and manual tests, regression, functional, and acceptance tests
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure high-quality and reliable operation
Participate in the design and implementation of new features and functionalities
Perform design/code reviews for all automation scripts and manual test cases, collaborating with systems engineers, software developers, and other technical staff
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software development and hardware-software integration
Qualifications

Compensation & Growth • Base Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $129,600.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
