Full Job Description
  • Writing test plans and test cases
  • Reporting, analyzing, and tracking defects
  • Assisting with software releases
  • Working closely with other QA members, outside and home office developers, and internal business units to facilitate projects
  • Create and maintain a regression test bed for our core SharePoint code as well as our SharePoint applications
  • Participating in a Scrum team
  • Leading QA efforts
The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:
  • 4-6 years' testing experience in information services/technology
  • Experience in Agile development processes
  • Understanding of the SharePoint Object Model, Workflow and Security
  • Proficiency with basic SQL queries
  • Experience working in a Microsoft environment; particularly experience with source control and bug-tracking in TFS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with the following would be a plus:
  • Familiarity with SharePoint farms, service applications, and hosted/provider methodology
  • Familiarity with concepts in SharePoint builds in TFS and SharePoint administration
  • Experience in performance testing, particularly for SharePoint
  • Test Automation and coding, especially C#
  • Experience with Azure and Office 365
  • Financial services
