Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in healthcare applications and enterprise software development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions that support healthcare business processes, data integration, analytics, and cloud-based applications. The role requires strong programming skills and experience working in Agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for healthcare platforms.
• Develop data processing and integration solutions using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS for application deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, data privacy, and security regulations.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
Required Qualifications
• 6-8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Healthcare, Health Insurance, Claims, Provider, Member, or Clinical systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, or EDI transactions.
• Experience with data analytics, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
