Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python frameworks, databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based deployments. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams to build reliable and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Build scalable and secure web applications.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
- Ensure application security and data protection.
Required Skills- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with ORM libraries such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Basic understanding of Linux environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Preferred Skills- Experience with Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Understanding of caching strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in backend development using Python.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations is a plus.
