Full Job Description
Public Sector Market Leader
Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid Work Schedule

Epstein is seeking a Public Sector Market Leader experienced with A/E public sector projects to establish and maintain relationships with key individuals and decision makers within civic entities & consultant firms for the express purpose of generating new strategic relationships and profitable sales for the company.

What You'll Do
1. Research clients, market trends and background information associated with business development efforts.
2. Uncover new project leads through various means including suppliers, vendors, cold calls to end users, industry tracking sources, professional and business groups, technical organizations, and personal contacts.
3. Act as the critical client contact and develop and prepare responses to client requests during initial stages of a prospective project.
4. Identify public relations, sponsorship and advertising opportunities; coordinate their implementation.
5. Assist in determining the strategy for pursuing specific project opportunities.
6. Develop marketing strategy, action plan, labor and revenue projections and budget.
7. Initiate, participate in, and manage the preparation process for qualification statements, proposals and presentations. Assist in writing response documents such as the project approach, narrative and cover letter. Take ownership of proposals and response documents.
8. Receive and review project announcements, RFPs, RFQs, etc., and initiates decisions on whether or not to formally respond.
9. Identify and participate in trade shows and industry events/functions to network with key influencers and/or industry contacts.

Compensation
Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including education, experience, training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications, and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
