Public Affairs Account ExecutiveWe9re hiring an
Public Affairs Account Executive to run client work day to day. This is a role with real ownership early. You will be on calls with the people who make the decisions, and what you build will run.
What You9re DoOwn the account. You9ll be a primary point of contact for your clients. That means knowing their issue, their opposition, their timeline, and the politics around all three well enough to tell them what they need to hear, not just take the order. You9ll shape strategy alongside senior staff and bring recommendations to the table.
Build the work. Social content, ad concepting, video scriptwriting. If it lives on a screen, we make it. Your ideas are the engine that power our production team of designers, videographers, and web developers, who then bring your vision to life on deadline and on budget.
Run the campaign. You9ll help plan multi-channel advertising programs across CTV, pre-roll, display, social, and text, then manage them in flight. You9ll run client calls and internal production meetings, manage approvals, track budgets and timelines, and pull the reporting that shows what moved.
Find the next thing. Advocacy changes fast. We hire the hardest-working people with the most positive attitudes and team-oriented mentalities. At Drive, we thrive in a culture of curiosity, which means we9re constantly trying new things, innovating, building, and growing together.
How You9ll GrowDrive is a small team with a large bench behind it. You get the range of a boutique shop and the production, media-buying, design, and data capacity of our parent company, Push Digital Group. Practically, that means an AE here touches strategy, creative, and media instead of being boxed into one lane.
Strong AEs have the opportunity to lead accounts of their own, including client relationships, scopes, and additional staff working alongside them. We9re growing, and new verticals come with it. If you want to own something, there is room to.
What We9re Looking ForOne to three years in public affairs, public policy, government relations, corporate communications, or political campaigns. Capitol Hill or state legislative experience is a strong plus.
You should be able to write. Clean, fast, and in someone else9s voice. Experience writing for advocacy, fundraising, or GOTV campaigns tells us a lot.
We can teach the tools. Curiosity, judgment, and attention to detail you bring with you. The people who do well here are genuinely interested in how policy fights get won, take ownership without being asked, and are good teammates when the week gets long. Client deadlines sometimes mean campaign hours, and we9re straight with candidates about that.
The ideal candidate will be located in, or willing to relocate to, the Washington, DC area. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, with regular time spent in our Old Town Alexandria, Virginia office and the option to work remotely from home on select days. Exceptional fully remote candidates will also be considered.
As of the date of this posting (September 24, 2026), a good faith estimate of the salary range for this position is $65,000 to $97,000. Placement within the range will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including qualifications and experience, education, external market data, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary profit-share bonus compensation program.
