Qualifications

• Board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist with a focus on underserved populations.
• Comfortable providing in-person and virtual care in an outpatient setting.
• Proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Trauma-informed with skills in integrated behavioral healthcare.
• Extensive knowledge of DSM-5-TR and care planning protocols.
• Effective in patient communication, assessing strengths and needs.
• Valid Texas medical license required.
• Ability to collaborate with community partners for patient safety and care escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with patients to develop treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings during initial interviews.
• Document care efficiently in electronic health records and monitor patient progress.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Work independently while seeking support from colleagues in a group practice.
• Engage with community and psychiatric service providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
