Full Job Description
Gaylord Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team in providing exceptional care to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric consultations and care for adolescent through geriatric patients who have experienced a range of complex medical illnesses, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other neurologic/medical diseases.
Manage a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients
Develop and grow the service on both the inpatient and outpatient side
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an approved residency program in Psychiatry
