Active New York State NP license
Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Strong understanding of HIPAA and experience using EMR systems
DEA registration preferred, or willingness to obtain
Preferred: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NYS Infection Control training
Preferred: 1+ year experience as a Psychiatric NP; bilingual English/Spanish
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients across the lifespan, in person or via telehealth
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitor effectiveness, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team
Provide psychoeducation and advocate for each patient's mental health needs
Maintain privacy, clear communication, and quality of care across virtual visits
Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and efficiency

Earn $125,000 to $187,000 base plus up to $45,000 in quarterly performance bonuses delivering mental health care across the lifespan at our Mineola clinic, with AI copilots handling your documentation. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you'll run your own evaluations, medication management, and treatment plans in a collaborative outpatient setting with telehealth flexibility built in. Less admin, real support, patients who need you.
