Overview

The Treatment Resistant Disorders Group at Avance Psychiatry led by Robert Millet, MD is dedicated to cutting-edge, research-based treatments for treatment resistant depression and other conditions that are not improving with standard mental health treatments.  

 

Description: 

  • Outpatient Monday to Friday 40 hrs. per week (8am-5pm) position with no on call or weekend hours 
  • 1 day per week telemedicine from home with approval 
  • Supported by Medical Assistants and Patient Coordinators 
  • Includes general adult patients with psychiatric conditions who are commercially insured 
  • Work in integrated system with practitioners in primary care, neurology, addiction, opioid maintenance therapy, child psychiatry and over 60 behavioral therapists 
  • Patient load includes 50% general psychiatry and 50% treatment resistant disorders. 
  • Treatment modalities include esketamine (Spravato), ketamine and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
