THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT MANGUM REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will work in the Strong Mind Department at client locations to provide psychiatric services to adult clients with behavioral health issues. This position will be supervised externally by a psychiatrist with whom there is a collaborative Practice Agreement established upon hire. The PMHNP will work in collaboration with a Licensed Professional Counselor to coordinate client care, assist with insurance prior authorization, and caseload management. The PMHNP will work out of multiple locations and a remote office. Services will be on-site, with the ability to work remotely while conducting administrative tasks one day per week.

Position Summary Expanded: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act,?("The Unity Bill") this position is considered a "Safety-sensitive position. "Safety-sensitive" is defined to include "any job that includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others." Employees working in "safety-sensitive" roles are subject to this exception and subject to disciplinary action in the event of a positive test for marijuana or its metabolites.
