The Opportunity:

This role is responsible for developing logistics product data for hull, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for sUSVs in accordance with standard defense specifications. This role conducts classic and backfits Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to ensure the operational availability of sUSVs, combatant craft, and boats without inducing wear or failure during validation.

Key Provisioning Responsibilities:

Data Development:

  • Create Provisioning Technical Data (PTD) and Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP)
  • Generate and maintain an Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) data file exchange for Logistics Product Data (LPD).


Configuration Management:

  • Develop work files to manage configuration-worthy items (systems, equipment, and structural components) down to the RIC/HSC level in accordance with NAVSEA Technical Specification 9090-700.


Physical Verification:

  •  Perform onboard photo validation of installed equipment on boats and combatant craft.


Product Support:

  • Provide configuration status accounting services via Model Based Product Support (MBPS).
  • Provisioning package development will be performed in the online version of Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPs) database.


Key Maintenance Responsibilities:

RCM Analysis Execution:

  •  Perform backfit and classic RCM analysis for hull, mechanical, electrical, electronics, and safety equipment in accordance with MIL-STD-3034A (specifically Appendix D for Backfit analysis).


Form & Spreadsheet Generation:

  • Develop RCM backfit forms or master tracking spreadsheets for every Maintenance Requirements Card (MRC) under review. RCM backfit spreadsheet can be used in lieu of backfit form. Government will review recommendations to approve changes, once changes are approved the MRC should be modified in Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMSMIS). Develop special project write up that describes changes to the MRC in a Word document to Government POC.


PMS Service Request (PSR) Support:

  • Review, research, and draft responses to PSRs, and execute approved updates in PMSMIS.
  • Reporting: Author specialized project write-ups in Word format detailing proposed MRC changes to the Government POC.


Class Maintenance Plans:

  •  Develop a Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) in accordance with DI-PSSS-81823 when tasked.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Experience Level - 7 to 12 years of specialized military logistics or maintenance planning experience.
  • Physical Demands - Must be able to walk, climb, and carry up to 30 lbs during physical inspections.
  • Environmental Conditions - Capable of working in extreme weather environments ranging from below 32°F to above 90°F.
  • IT & Security Requirements -     Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC) with an active Flank Speed email address.  
  • Experience with government logistic websites such as WebFLIS, Deckplate, ICAPS, CMPRO, CBSS21, MBPS


Desired:

  • Office Software Proficiency, Intermediate to advance level proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).


Professional Communication

  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interface between contractors and Government Points of Contact (POCs).


Presentation & Coordination

  • Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations, as well as attend, prepare for, and host technical meetings.
