Full Job Description

All full-time roles are in person in New York.

About the role

As a Provider Growth GM at Forus, you will own one of the company's most important markets. Your responsibility will be simple: figure out how we win.

Whether that means influencing product strategy, developing partnerships, launching new programs, refining positioning, improving provider activation, building new acquisition channels, or identifying entirely new approaches, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy that drives growth and market share within your category.

This is not a functional role. You will operate as the outcome owner of a priority market for the business, working across product, GTM, operations, and leadership to align resources around the highest-impact opportunities. Success requires developing a deep understanding of your market, making smart investment decisions, and driving results through teams across the company.

This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.

If you join, you will:
  • Own growth, market share, and long-term success within one of Forus' most important provider markets
  • Develop category strategy across product, partnerships, positioning, provider experience, and go-to-market execution
  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities to accelerate growth and allocate resources across competing initiatives
  • Work closely with product, engineering, operations, growth, and leadership teams to drive execution against category goals
  • Build expertise in your market and act as the internal voice of the category as we evaluate new products, services, and strategic opportunities
  • Explore, evaluate, and execute on new opportunities for the company, including partnerships, programs, and adjacent market expansion
  • Work closely with the rest of our team and CEO to make business decisions as we balance speed of growth and long-term profitability

We'll be most excited if you have:
  • Experience owning business-critical outcomes in a highly analytical environment requiring structured problem-solving, operational rigor, and sound judgment (e.g., fast-growing startup, consulting, product, operations, growth)
  • Strategic and commercial instincts that enable you to make tradeoffs across product, partnerships, go-to-market, and resource allocation in pursuit of a larger goal
  • Strong written and verbal communication that allows you to be an effective participant in both internal debates and external relationships
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates

This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We're excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.

  • Raise the bar together. Hold a high standard for execution, push each other directly, and win as a team.
