Working alongside a team of brilliant, ever-curious engineers, you will leverage deep network engineering principles to develop XKS fingerprints, build microplugins, and solve hard challenges. The annual base salary range for this role is $144,000-$171,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Network Engineering & Protocols: Strong, practical understanding of telecom-based network analysis at the network layer, including hands-on experience with routing/switching (Cisco, Huawei) and core transport technologies such as MPLS and SDH.
- Specialized Capability Development: Demonstrated ability to develop XKS fingerprints and custom microplugins for target processing and network analytics.
- Operations & Tooling: Practical experience using tools, frameworks, and operational tradecraft to support complex mission environments.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
8+ years of professional experience in data science, NLP, or software engineering OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
12+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsExperience developing, testing, or integrating software components in Linux/Unix operating environments.
Familiarity with low-level protocol analysis, packet inspection, and network traffic parsing tools.
Active involvement in continuous learning, prototype development, or emerging tech exploration.
Outstanding communication skills with a team-first, collaborative mindset.
