Responsibilities

  • Oversee hiring, training, and management of property staff

  • Maintain accurate resident records and handle A/P functions
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for staff and residents
  • Conduct building inspections and ensure property standards are met
  • Coordinate with maintenance team to address service requests
  • Promote resident satisfaction and address concerns effectively
  • Perform detailed reporting and administrative tasks
  • Process housing applications for LIHTC and related programs
  • Complete annual and interim income certifications as required

Full Job Description
Compensation: $80,000 to $88,000 annually

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager who can guide their team to keep the community running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee hiring, training, supervising, and motivating the property staff
  • Manage the community's revenue and expenses to ensure the budget and financial guidelines are met
  • Maintain accurate resident records, post all rent, deposits, and fees, and all A/P functions
  • Follow all policies and procedures for compliance with staff and residents
  • Complete building inspections and take appropriate action to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet standards
  • Follow up on service requests with the maintenance team and ensure residents' requests have been completed
  • Promote resident satisfaction by serving as a resource for residents to express their concerns and assist with resolution
  • Perform required reporting and administrative tasks with attention to detail
  • Receive, process, and maintain initial housing applications for Affordable Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Public Housing, and Site-Based Section 8 programs.
  • Ensure completion of annual and interim income certifications, as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  • Valid Driver's license is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Industry software experience (YARDI, One Site, etc.)
  • Tax credit experience is highly required
  • Property management experience is preferred
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
