As a member of a collaborative Agile team, you'll work side-by-side with domain experts from hardware, software, subsystems, and systems engineering. Together, you'll translate requirements into robust architectures, design elegant solutions, write high-quality code, build comprehensive unit tests, and support seamless integration and long-term sustainment.
- The Scalable, Software-Defined, Supportable S-Band Radar (S4R) Mission and Digital Processing (MDP) Deputy Product Lead will work closely with team, program, and functional management in ensuring successful sub-product planning and planning strategy for the sub-product. The Project Engineer will be responsible for efforts including the following:
Coordinating the planning and tracking of MDP software development efforts across multiple programs and baselines. - Supporting sub-product Earned Value Management efforts and serving as the Control Account Manager (CAM) scope across programs and baselines.
- Identifying and facilitating the resolution of MDP team blockers.
- Providing sub-product status and plans to program leadership and supporting related meetings, presentations, and reviews.
- Leading MDP proposal and Basis of Estimate (BOE) efforts.
- Facilitating the collection of regular metrics to inform MDP team progress and serve as historical basis for future work.
- Facilitating sub-product strategic planning through cross-program roadmap development and maintenance.
- Collaborating with functional management on team staffing plans and communicating demand needs for the MDP sub-product.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
- Experience with planning and executing large product development efforts
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- CAM certified
- Experience supporting program proposals and performing software estimates
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Clearance
Desired Skills- Experience with Software Development Metrics
- Experience supporting Agile SW development efforts
- Experience with Program Performance Management for Agile Programs
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite
- Experience on Radar focused projects
- Strong technical leadership skills

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
