Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to support the planning and delivery of complex engineering and construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, identify risks and provide schedule insights that help keep projects on track.
A Day in the Life
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Establish baselines, milestones, WBS, dependencies and critical paths
• Monitor progress and perform schedule variance and critical path analysis
• Identify schedule risks, delays and trends and support corrective actions
• Support resource forecasting, progress measurement and project reporting
• Work closely with Project Managers to provide schedule updates and recommendations
What You'll Bring to the Team
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related field
• 5-8 years of project scheduling or project controls experience
• Experience in engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM, industrial construction, mining, energy or infrastructure
• Strong hands-on Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project experience
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, schedule logic, baselines and WBS
• Experience with forecasting, progress measurement and schedule variance analysis
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• PMP/PSP/PMI-SP or other project controls designation is an asset
