Must have Nuclear Plant Delivery & Manufacturing
About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on scheduler to build and manage the integrated plan connecting engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
This role is critical to maintaining delivery speed: ensuring that designs are released when needed, materials arrive on time, factory output aligns with site requirements and construction activities are ready to proceed. You will work directly with functional leads to build a schedule grounded in real execution requirements, rather than simply reporting dates.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
- Establish activity logic, dependencies, milestones, critical paths and resource assumptions.
- Link engineering release dates, vendor lead times, fabrication, inspection, testing, shipping and site installation.
- Work directly with project managers, engineers, manufacturing leads and suppliers to validate schedules.
- Track progress against baselines, identify delays and quantify their effect on downstream milestones.
- Develop recovery plans and alternative execution scenarios when constraints arise.
- Monitor long-lead items, supplier dependencies and schedule-critical design decisions.
- Produce concise progress reports, look-ahead schedules and management dashboards.
- Improve planning methods using actual manufacturing and construction performance data.
- Help establish repeatable schedules for future plant builds and production ramps.
Requirements- Power generation, nuclear, industrial manufacturing, EPC or modular construction.
- Factory-to-site logistics and long-lead equipment management.
- Critical path analysis, earned value management and schedule recovery planning.
- Approximately 7+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience.
- Strong experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
- Experience building logic-linked schedules for physical construction, manufacturing or capital projects.
- Understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics and site execution.
- Ability to identify critical-path risks and challenge unrealistic dates.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with delivery teams.
