Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for projects.
  • Meet all deadlines and complete project deliverables accurately.
  • Maintain records of schedule development and changes meticulously.
  • Develop new project schedules within the system effectively.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Project Management teams on schedule requirements.
  • Coordinate team contributions to ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and controls.
  • Support project leadership with special reports and analysis to ensure data accuracy.

Full Job Description
Job Overview:

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of all required monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for their assigned projects. These reports include but aren't limited to: weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, earned value analysis, S-curves creation and analysis, resource reporting and writing schedule narrative when requested.
  • Complete all deliverables and meet deadlines within assigned projects.
  • Maintain accurate history of schedule development and changes.
  • Create new project schedules in the system.
  • Work with Estimating and Project Management teams to understand schedule contract requirements.
  • Coordinate the project team input into the schedule.
  • Attend any weekly and monthly owner meetings with the PM as needed.
  • Assist PM's, Directors, VP's, and PCM with special reports, requests, analysis, subcontractor/EPC daily, weekly, monthly reports to ensure data accuracy, and other Site Manager miscellaneous day to day activities.
  • Attend and participate in the Plan of the Day (POD) and Daily Managers meeting to obtain all information related to project controls.
  • Create, evaluate, and improve all schedule controls processes and procedures within the guidelines of PSC.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
• 0-2 years of cost or scheduling experience with a preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Generation.
• Scheduling specific training or certificate desirable.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Oracle Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of CPM Scheduling practices.
  • Ability to read and understand prints and contracts.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, working with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.
  • Strong attention to detail along with constant process improvement vigilance required.
  • Must be able to meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
