Full Job Description
The Opportunity

As the Project Procurement Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Perform assigned procurement activities for a proposal(s) or project(s)
  • Lead others with procurement responsibilities while requiring minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Purchases assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures
  • Assists in project setup of procurement related activities
  • Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts
  • Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts
  • Collaborates to resolve complex claims or other contract issues
  • Ensures contract documents are issued correctly and on schedule
  • Assists with the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules (man-hours, cost, procurement milestone durations)
  • Assists with the establishment and/or monitoring of procurement goals
  • Monitors project procurement activities and reports status
  • May develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external client and joint venture partners
  • May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a project or projects
  • May also lead and coordinate the entire budgetary pricing effort on a project or projects
  • Files appropriate documents and follows filing rules
  • Possible positions receiving direction:Procurement Representative, Procurement Administrator, Expediter


Management Responsibilities

Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Travel may be required
  • Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
