Full Job Description
In the role of Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:
• Ensure that work plan, safety plan, laboratory hygiene plan and quality control procedures are followed.
• Serve as the competent safety person during water sampling field work activities.
• Prepare required documentation for water sampling events including bottle labeling, field worksheets, and chain of custody forms.
• Prepare written plans and reports related to field investigations and data collection activities including discharge monitoring reports, sampling plans, safety plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Review lab reports
• Perform quality control reviews of field documentation
• Upload discharge monitoring report data to State of Hawaii Department of Health system.
• Perform a monthly inventory of equipment and supplies and order/replace as needed.
• Develop equipment cleaning schedule and perform cleaning of sampling equipment.
• Monitor scope of work and scope changes.
• Prepare/review scopes of work and budgets/estimates for proposals and track budget and schedule status throughout
the course of the project.
• Perform other duties required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree
• PMP certification
• Microsoft Access experience
• Interest in advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience is required
• Demonstrated leadership skills
