Full Job Description
Project Manager (Full-Time)

Location: Pentagon, VA

Clearance: Secret

Certification(s) Required: CompTIA Security+, PMP preferred

The Objective:

In this role, you will with work with the Project Management office on projects and activities. Interface with the DoW officials to coordinate, schedule and manage discrete Peer Review projects. You will be responsible for engaging with Subject Matter Experts for assignments and monitoring work activities. You will lead projects from inception through delivery, coordinating all related functions, tasks and scheduling.

The Details:
  • Builds working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Relies on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.
  • Responsible for ongoing development of the team and continued improvement of a development process and quantity of work delivered.
  • Monitor trends and upcoming changes on multiple contracts; analyze the environment and develop recommended improvements or growth opportunities.
  • Provide project coordination and process improvements through the QCP.
  • Supervise, coordinate work schedules, resolve minor concerns/issues, and complete the administrative tasks associated with the PWS.
  • Interact regularly with government personnel to ensure quality performance on the contract and report on the progress of projects and tasks.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to support proposals.


The Requirements:
  • Must have the capability and leadership skills to resolve and respond to issues directly with stakeholder's.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Must have 5 years of Project/Program Management experience with a successful delivery track record.
  • Strong people manager experienced in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Must have strong decision-making, judgement, and analytical skills.
  • Must have business acumen with a solid understanding of forecasting and planning.
  • Must have proven client engagement management and relationship-building experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have government contracting experience supporting management and IT contracts.

Additional Requirements

  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Occasional lifting of 25 pounds may be required
  • Other duties as assigned
