Full Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex healthcare capital projects that support safe, efficient, and innovative patient care environments. The successful candidate will contribute to projects that shape the future of healthcare delivery while collaborating with a highly experienced and multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities will include working with and coordinating, clients, healthcare stakeholders, design professionals, contractors, and internal program leadership to plan, manage, and deliver healthcare facilities projects. The Healthcare Project Manager – MEP Infrastructure Focus will support projects throughout the full project life cycle—from early planning and programming through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout—while ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.

The successful candidate will be skilled and experienced in the following: • Oversee the planning and execution of healthcare capital projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of project activities. • Supporting the development and maintenance of project schedules, cost estimates, cash flow projections, and risk logs. • Coordinating design and construction activities with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and authorities having jurisdiction.

• Assist in performing MEP infrastructure investigations of existing systems alongside facilities personnel, architects, engineers, and contractors and apply all system data to current MEP systems design approach.

• Facilitating client, user group, and project team meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting documentation, and action item tracking. • Monitoring project progress and supporting the management of changes related to scope, schedule, and budget. • Assisting with review of project documentation, including drawings, specifications,

submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs). • Supporting compliance with healthcare-specific standards, safety requirements, and infection prevention and control protocols. • Preparing timely and accurate project reports and presentations for internal and client stakeholders. Required Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience supporting or managing healthcare construction or capital improvement projects with a focus on mechanical, electrical and plumbing campus infrastructure. • Experience working in active or occupied healthcare environments is preferred. • Knowledge of healthcare facilities planning, construction sequence, and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required; experience with project management (PMIS systems) and scheduling software is preferred. • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills are essential. • The candidate should be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Essential Duties Include: • Support project planning and execution activities in coordination with senior project leadership. • Track project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and quality control processes.

• A/E and Construction GMP Contract formatting, negotiations and management. • Monitor project risks and issues and support development of mitigation strategies. • Coordinate with internal program controls, cost management, and scheduling resources. • Participate in procurement and consultant coordination activities as required. • Support construction administration activities, including site observations, review of contractor submissions, and coordination of project closeout. • Ensure conformance with client standards, healthcare regulations, and established program management practices. This position places a strong emphasis on the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure systems within healthcare environments, including scope specific to central utility plants, air handlers,

exhaust systems, medical gasses, emergency generators, ATS’s, and Type 1 EES systems,

Compensation Range:

$133,635.31 - $152,726.06
