The Role:This role has two salary ranges, depending on the level at which the candidate is hired:
- Project Manager: $98,000.00 - $163,000.00
- Senior Project Manager: $132,600 - $221,000
The final level will be determined based on each candidate's professional experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
At Vivmark Residential, we develop, build, and operate apartment communities across the United States. We are seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead multifamily residential and mixed-use construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
This role is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and team performance. The ideal candidate brings strong construction management expertise, a proactive leadership style, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, consultants, trade partners, and field personnel.
What You'll Do- Lead multifamily construction projects through all phases of development and construction
- Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and execution plans
- Coordinate closely with Development, Design, Purchasing, Operations, consultants, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage bidding, procurement, contract administration, and cost control activities
- Monitor construction progress and proactively address schedule, budget, quality, and constructability challenges
- Ensure adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations
- Lead and develop project teams, field leadership, and construction staff
- Review project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies before they impact execution
- Oversee project reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence across the construction platform
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or large-scale residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with consultants, trade partners, local jurisdictions, and third-party vendors
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to evaluate risk, make sound decisions, and drive projects to successful completion
Preferred Qualifications for Senior Project Manager- Extensive experience leading large-scale multifamily developments, redevelopment projects, or capital improvement programs
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers
- Advanced expertise in budgeting, forecasting, constructability reviews, value engineering, and project execution planning
- Proven ability to influence project strategy and partner with senior leadership on business and operational decisions
