About the Job:We are currently seeking a
Project Manager who can manage the creation and quality of our client-facing product release notes for Converge. Our Converge product release notes will go into great detail on features, functionality, their value, and is highly leveraged by our clients.
About You:This position will be a great fit for candidates with strong strong project management skills who also have the ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing to ensure a seamless process of creating Release Notes. Candidates should have tenacity and a 'wears all hats' mentality to thrive in our company's culture.
Responsibilities: - Maintain and update Release Notes style guide.
- Create a monthly release notes template at the start of each month.
- Create and maintain feature enablement checklist which will provide uniform guidelines on what must be done before a major feature can be announced to clients.
- Schedule and run monthly release notes product team meetings.
- Follow up with Project Managers as needed: Note that with almost 50 squads at our company, this will require close monitoring and frequent follow up to ensure no gaps.
- Proofread release notes for accuracy, quality of content, and writing style to ensure content follows our 'best practices' around format and language.
- Share drafts with Product Marketing inside the targeted release window.
- Monitor the releases planned during the enablement window, and regularly update Release Notes on Confluence.
Skills: - Familiarity with Jira
- Familiarity with Confluence
Minimum Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years managing teams and delegating tasks when necessary
