Full Job Description
Halff has an immediate opening in our Little Rock, AR office for a Professional Civil Engineer to fill our Project Manager role. The ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of experience in public works, municipal roadway, land development, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design, and/or utilities design. The position will be for a Project Manager interested in managing design and construction for a wide range of public and private infrastructure projects. Projects include, yet not limited to, roadways, drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, civil site work and associated civil improvements in land development as well as public parks and trails facilities. What you will do:
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
  • This position requires past design and project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities.
  • The role will work closely with other professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Arkansas, or transferable within 2 months.
  • Experience in roadway design, construction sequencing, storm water drainage systems, detention concepts, erosion & sediment control, reports, and design.
  • Experience in stormwater design, detention concepts, and modeling software is preferred.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines.
  • Positive attitude, self-directed.
  • Additional experience in Transportation and/or Land Development preferred.
