Project Manager - Living (First Assignment in Dallas)

Position Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution in terms of budget, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can guide cross-functional teams, build strong client relationships, and drive accountability across all phases of the project.

Responsibilities
Lead the direction, execution, and financial performance of assigned construction projects
Build and mentor strong, motivated project teams while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Manage all project costs, forecasting, pay applications, and profitability strategies
Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules; communicate milestones to all partners
Lead change order processes, subcontractor buyouts, and contract execution according to established timelines
Proactively identify project risks and provide creative, client-focused solutions
Maintain and update site logistics and build plans to meet constructability and performance goals
Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld in alignment with PARIC and OSHA guidelines
Foster strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partners to ensure satisfaction and success
Mentor and support professional development of direct reports
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
Strong knowledge of contract terms, cost management, scheduling, and construction processes
Proficiency with project management software and job cost forecasting tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:
Proven ability to resolve complex project challenges creatively
Experience with subcontractor negotiation and dispute resolution
Familiarity with scheduling software and BIM tools
