Full Job Description
PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applications for a Project Managerto join our team in Vaughan, ON.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. This role requires the development and management of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and documentation to facilitate clear communication and efficient execution. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and mitigate risks to deliver projects on time and within budget. They will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise during the project life cycle. Ultimately, the Project Manager will drive project development efforts to achieve high-quality outcomes that support the strategic objectives of the organization.

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and change requests.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor project progress throughout the project life cycle, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Support quotations and proposals including WBS.

Skills:

The required skills such as project coordination, planning, and scheduling are essential for organizing and driving project activities efficiently on a daily basis. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software enables the Project Manager to create detailed schedules and track progress effectively. Strong project documentation and administration skills ensure that all project information is accurately recorded and communicated to stakeholders, facilitating transparency and accountability. Understanding the project life cycle allows the Project Manager to anticipate challenges and apply appropriate management techniques at each phase. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination and management within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software tools.
  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience managing projects in a Canadian business environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional or remote teams.
  • Experience with Airworthiness certification activities (FAA/TCCA/EASA/etc.) and STC product.
