We're seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of Owner's Engineer services for our client's renewable energy projects, with a specific preference for experience with wind power. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical expertise and leadership capability. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about guiding clients through complex decisions as they design and build their renewable power portfolio, managing cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-value solutions, and mentoring the next generation of consultants. What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading all phases of Owner's Engineer projects, from business development through execution. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with client execution teams, develop scope and fee structures, ensure quality deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships. You'll also serve as a mentor and trusted technical resource to internal team members.

Business Development
  • Cultivate and grow client relationships through marketing efforts, project delivery, and strategic engagement.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with utilities, developers, and investors.
  • Lead proposal development, scope definition, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
  • Set critical project objectives with clients and lead contract development and negotiations.

Project Execution
  • Manage the full lifecycle of wind power Owner's Engineer engagements including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communication.
  • Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, analysts, and financial consultants to deliver timely, high-value solutions to our clients.
  • Lead risk assessment processes and procedures using industry best practices.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and results to stakeholders and leadership.

Leadership & Mentorship
  • Train and mentor junior staff on technical and consulting aspects of Owner's Engineer services.
  • Champion internal initiatives that promote team growth and technical excellence.
  • Serve as a go-to expert in wind power design and delivery.

Technical Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform Owner's Engineer services including drawing reviews, technical study reviews, supporting responses to contractor requests for information, identifying cost or schedule delays, identifying technical inefficiencies or abnormalities, and supporting project closeout.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely, consistent, and comprehensive reviews across civil, structure, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Support client with coordination of overlapping parties, including wind turbine supplier and balance-of-plant contractor.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in engineering, business, computer science or related field from an accredited program and 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge in project management, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience leading technical aspects of consulting engagements in regards to renewable energy projects such as wind or solar generation or energy storage.
  • Experience on consulting projects, client operations, or executing program management within the critical infrastructure industry.
  • Understanding of general business and financial principles.
  • Experience with communicating across business segments to understand project objectives.
