Full Job Description
Civil/Municipal/Water Resource Project Manager

We are actively seeking a Civil/Municipal/Water Resource Project Manager in our York, PA office. As a Civil/Municipal/Water Resource Project Manager with HRG, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management:
    • Oversee and manage civil, municipal, and water resources projects related to public infrastructure (roadways, stormwater systems, SWM & ESC BMPs, etc.) from initiation to completion
    • Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, and quality
  • Design and Reporting: Oversight and QAQC of detailed project designs and comprehensive reports tailored to client needs
  • Construction Contract Administration: Develop and administer construction contracts to ensure compliance and project success
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial resources, monitor budgets, and maintain project profitability
  • Client Representation: Act as a trusted representative for municipal clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil, municipal and water resources engineering to include:
    • Municipal representation
    • Stormwater management
    • Roads
    • Utilities
    • Construction administration
    • Ordinance and plan review
    • Environmental permits (PADEP, USACE, FEMA)
    • PENNDOT permits
    • Grant applications
    • Project presentations
    • Specification writing
    • Meeting facilitation
  • Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc.
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
  • Valid US Driver's License is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
