Job Title: Project Manager - Millwork / Casework / Fixtures
Reports to: Director of Project Management
Position Status: Salaried Exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:- The Project Manager is responsible for full lifecycle execution of custom millwork, casework, and fixture manufacturing projects from contract award through production and delivery.
- This role coordinates engineering, sourcing, fabrication, and installation to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
- Operates in a fast-paced environment requiring strong execution, communication, and control of scope, cost, and timelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Own projects from contract through engineering, production, and delivery
- Manage multiple custom manufacturing projects in a fast-turn environment
- Coordinate Engineering, Sourcing, Production, and Operations
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with shop capacity
- Manage scope, costs, and change orders
- Track project financials and ensure margin performance
- Maintain clear communication and documentation in ERP systems
- Conduct project closeouts and continuous improvement reviews
REASONING ABILITY:- Strong problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced manufacturing
- Ability to anticipate risks and implement solutions proactively
- Evaluate cost, schedule, and production impacts effectively
LANGUAGE SKILLS:- English required; Spanish preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:- 5-10+ years in millwork, casework, fixtures, or custom manufacturing
- Ability to read shop drawings, BOMs, and production documentation
- Experience with production schedules and cross-functional teams
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - PMP certification is a plus but not required
