What You'll Do

As a Project Manager II, you will hold overall responsibility for medium to high complexity projects or multiple concurrent projects-leading teams to achieve Total Project Success by meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinate multi-discipline resources and subconsultants, manage financial performance, and ensure projects are executed according to plan from kickoff through close-out.   • Confirm project scope and requirements with clients and stakeholders; document assumptions and decisions.
  • Develop proposals and financial plans; prepare preliminary man-hour budgets with CRM, Department Head, or Operations Director.
  • Ensure contracts are fully executed by the appropriate Principal and align the team to contractual obligations.
  • Lead effective project kick-offs to convey scope, standards, budgets, roles, risks, and expectations.
  • Finalize discipline work plans and task-hour budgets with design leads; update plans as conditions change.
  • Establish schedules with client input; set interim milestones for timely information flow and coordination.
  • Schedule and sequence work; communicate action items; monitor manpower plans across disciplines and maintain profit variance within targets.
  • Maintain complete project documentation and organized storage; keep logs current (RFI, submittal, decision, risk).
  • Facilitate meetings with owners, clients, architects, and contractors; document decisions and follow-ups.
  • Track budgets, fee burn, and earned value; recognize how hours charged impact revenue and forecasts.
  • Identify, negotiate, and administer fees for additional services; process change orders promptly.
  • Prepare and implement proactive QA/QC plans; coordinate timely reviews and submittals to meet standards and contract requirements.
  • Manage Construction Administration to help ensure installed systems conform to design intent and quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate invoices are issued promptly; track AR status and update projected monthly revenue.
  • Resolve design and coordination issues by analyzing root causes and driving cross-discipline solutions.
  • Supervise close-out activities including punchlists, documentation, filings, lessons learned, and archive.
  • Build and grow client relationships through exceptional delivery; engage in business development with current and potential clients to expand services.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:
  • Technical or Bachelor's degree in one of the major technical disciplines practiced by the firm with eight years related project experience OR
  • Twelve years of practical experience on similar projects
  • Demonstrated, consistent ability to manage projects of various size and complexity
  • Professional Engineer Licensure preferred (required by those who have a ABET accredited degree in engineering)
  • Experience managing healthcare projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading multi-discipline design teams and coordinating subconsultants and contractors.
  • Command of project financials including pricing, fee burn, earned value, forecasts, and AR.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with scheduling and resource planning tools.
  • Clear, concise communication and meeting facilitation; strong documentation and follow-through.
  • Ability to analyze issues, evaluate trade-offs, mitigate risk, and make sound decisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Business development mindset with experience supporting proposals, interviews, and client workshops.
