As the Project Manager - Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic BVT (Blades & Vanes Tampa) Expansion within the Operations Tampa manufacturing unit. This position is essential for the successful execution of projects tied to this significant growth initiative, where you will coordinate project activities, support governance structures, and ensure effective stakeholder communication. Your focus will be on driving project execution, monitoring progress, and facilitating resource planning across multiple initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess solid project management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and risks in a structured environment. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Plan and execute projects related to the Tampa Operations expansion, ensuring alignment with defined objectives and effective resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation actions to keep projects on track and within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Support the coordination of interdependencies between projects to ensure alignment and timely delivery of outcomes, applying project management methodologies, tools, and best practices for consistent execution.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication of project progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate alignment and effective communication, fostering a collaborative environment for project success.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the program, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
What You Bring
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall.
  • Solid organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively convey project status and issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.
  • Basic financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting and reporting.
  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
