Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This position involves coordinating project team efforts, managing communication with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution with minimal supervision.
Essential Responsibilities- Serve as the primary project management point of contact for assigned strategic customer accounts, ensuring clear communication and execution alignment.
- Lead recurring customer meetings to communicate order status, milestone achievement, schedule updates, risks, and recovery plans.
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules and milestone charts using Microsoft Project and other project management tools to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales to drive on-time execution of customer orders and projects.
- Monitor open order status, identify schedule risks and constraints, and proactively lead corrective actions to support delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Escalate critical issues, resource gaps, and execution risks to leadership while driving accountability and timely resolution across functional teams.
Position Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years minimum experience in project management of Engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft Sensei, Jira, Monday.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify project risk, scope creep, and missing critical requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects to successful completion in engineering environment.
- Capacity to work in a high paced, changing environment, and interface effectively with other departments and executive management.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to create, organize, and manage detailed project documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, project teams, cross functional teams, and managers.
- Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings and driving consensus among stakeholders.
- Ability to address and resolve issues during the planning phase to ensure smooth project execution.
- Must possess strong leadership and emotional intelligence skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Highly self-motivated and a willingness to be effective and learn.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to travel periodically (up to 10%).
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or technical field.
- PMP Certification
- Experience in management of new product development projects.
- Experience in Aerospace and/or Military/Defense industries.

Equal Pay Act RangeAnnual salary is from $115,100.00 to $171,900.00, plus benefits & incentive plan.
