Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, controls, automation engineering, or related discipline; or 10 years experience leading complex projects in these areas.
• In-depth understanding of process control techniques and industrial manufacturing standards.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, controls technologies, and process control systems.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on capital projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical, controls, and instrumentation engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial control systems and equipment integration.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Experience with safety and risk assessment methodologies like HAZOP or FMEA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, controls, and automation capital projects from concept to commissioning across multiple sites.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications for projects up to $50 million.
• Develop capital expenditure requests, technical specifications, and equipment procurement strategies.
• Coordinate activities between manufacturing sites, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and OEM partners.
• Troubleshoot industrial control systems and recommend solutions to enhance reliability and performance.
• Conduct safety and risk assessments ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Drive standardization and implementation of best practices across multiple manufacturing locations.
